Bucks Cross Country Championships

On Wednesday 7th February we took a squad of athletes to the annual Bucks Cross Country Championships at Cottesloe School, Aylesbury.

The best team performance came from the Junior Boys who finished in 8th place overall! Within each team there were also some outstanding individual performances, most notably from Max McGarvie (Year 10) who finished 2nd in his race, Oliver Jackson (Year 13) who was placed 3rd and Michael Day (Year 13) who finished in 10th place! When you consider that these races included around 100 runners from all over the County, these performances are something
to be commended.

As a result of Max and Oliver’s performances individual performance, they'll be asked to compete in the English Schools Cross Country Championships. Congratulations and good luck to them!
