The Big Bang Fair
On Friday 16th March, thirty Year 9 STEM students attended The Big Bang Fair at the NEC in Birmingham.
Throughout the day they were able to speak with a number of universities as well as participate in activities run by companies such as Rolls Royce and the NHS. Many put themselves to the test in the “Accelerator” to see how well they would fair in a race against Usain Bolt while others tested models in flight at the Leonardo Da Vinci stand. All attended a show run by the “Gastronaughts” explaining how Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths all work together in order to create our favourite foods as well as design brand new flavours. A great day was had by all.
Thank you to those who attended as you made it a very enjoyable day!
